Strength:

The look. The look and ...the look.

Weakness:

Very difficult to pair with an amp.I have tried : Emotiva XPA2 ,Dayens ,Plinius 9200, Parasound A21 and Electocompaniet AW250R.The last one was the single amp who makes these speakers to sound right. Also very difficult to pair with cables and sources (DAC tried : Emotiva , Chord , Cyrus...).I have ended up hating these speakers. They are shinning only in a very expensive set-up and very careful matched. The mids are layed back and the bass is too strong.I spent to much money to make them soung good , I just hate them...

What needs to be said first is that this speaker is fantastic value for the money. I've been in this sport for several years now quite intensively and owned and heard several very nice speakers. Before Usher I've been using Sonus Faber Electa Amator II driven by ARC VS110 amp with ModWright DM36.5 preamp. Ushers comparing to SF kept musicality of SF which was very important for me. SF were standing out in mids and heights while Ushers just added lower tones which were somehow missing with SF.
Overall fantastic speakers!
