Strength:
A Great value at $48. I get a lot company and they get cranked without any problems.
Weakness:
The downside. The speaker cabinets are particle board construction with a wood-like laminate. I'm mot too crazy about particle board speaker cabinets. I gambled and got these on Ebay for $48, although not sure which system I would use them for. HT or stereo set-up. I hooked them up to my stereo set-up as B speakers in a room 25 X 30 with a 20 ft cathederal cieling. They are at the opposite side of the room from the mains. They are in mint condition and were seldom used. They have performed quite well with a 15" woofer, 4" mid and 2 1/2" tweeter. They are large in size and handle 110 RMS well. The sound is good, very good, but I have heard better, but definitely not at a $48 price. They handle both classical and rock well, and the bass is very good with the 15" woofer. Very high end seems restrained, which I EQ for at +3DB. The speaker grilles are just fine and they have a "wood-like look". Similar Products Used: Many and diverse. |

Strength:
For average listening they have been great speakers. They tend to sound a little brassy on some music. They have been excellent for home theater.
Weakness:
They are huge! I would recommend these speakers to someone who is not worried about space. |
