I have a Klispch RF 63. I bought it in 2011. Recently I read an article in The Absolute Sound where a reviewer was testing a Klispch RF something. He said that Klispch recommended connecting the speakers wires with the positive Red to the upper binding post and the negative black to the lower binding post but leaving the straps ON. I did the same with RF 63. Boy what a difference. I have them set as large as Klispch suggested with the others small. All the crossovers are 80 Hz. I have a Velodyne Ultra 1200. Velodyne suggests staggering the crossovers with the receiver LPF at 80 Hz and sub 120 Hz. I have a Marantz SR 7500. I listen to music in stereo pure direct. The preset on the Velodyne is set at default Jazz which has no Equalizer. What a difference night and day. Turn everything off when changing things at the switch on the wall. Try it.

These speakers are truly amazing i have always enjoyed klipsch speakers. I own a pair of rf-35's and a pair of f-2's. The rf-63's are on another level up the ladder though the lows are tight and the highs are breathtaking. I am driving these babies with a 200 watt perchannel rotel amp and the matching rotel receiver but trust me you dont need all that 60per channel will do sensitivity is at 99 awesome speakers well worth the money. When i play some Gerald Albright the sax is in the room baby.
