Bottom Line:
My speakers are now more than two years old and this model obsolete but anyway. These are good looking, easy to intergrate in your home speakers. I like the silver baffle behind the black fabric covers a lot.

Sound is very clean and unboxy and have at the same time a lot of body. They never gets thin or bright. It's a pleasure to play at high preassure and they goes louder than you expect.

Sound is very all-round. There might be other speakers that sounds better with specific music but the XL-250's never sounds bad. Focus is more on the total experience than details. I use them with a Marantz SR-7400 receiver. They sound better this way compared with my previous weaker Sony amp. They needs some power to open up. I always use them with a Energy S-10 sub. Sub and speakers intergare wery well.
