Had the sapphires for about 3 months now, and these beautiful floorstanders have started to break in,and at 53inches high and 13 inches deep they have fairly easy room placement for a good sized speaker.
In the Dynaudio hierarchy they are placed somewhere between the confidence and evidence ranges using the drive units from the evidence master (£78,000!)
The esotar2 soft dome tweeter is simply beyond compare with anything else I have ever heard, so sweet with no hint of harshness (and far nicer than the b&w diamond tweeter imo) the mids are clear and fantasticly musical with a lovely natural controlled bass, combine this with pinpoint imaging and truely world class build quality you have pretty much the perfect real world speaker.
I really can't find a negative about them, other than a limited production run so it might be difficult to find a pair, in fact I might just keep these for some time!
