been using them for a decade anywhere from 2-5 nights a week in dance clubs and for weddings and private parties with a QSC 900 or Crest 1000 watt amp. I've blown each woofer once in that time.......so VERY dependable!

Strength:

Very clean transparent sound. Not harsh like a typical P.A. speaker.

Weakness:

Noticable sound level drop off past 40-50ft in the min/high region. (could be my eq preference)

I have been a Cerwin Vega! loyalist for years. When it came time to purchase P.A. speakers there was no choice in brand. A limited budget brought us to the V152. Dispite the obvious odd look of the high frequency flare, the speaker is incredible. We pair it with a 18' folded horn sub (CV) and bi-amp the system. powered by twin Mackie 1400i power amps, this system is equally suited to live and prerecorded music.
