I used these castle inversion 50 speakers with an arcam 8CD player and amp. As an ex bass player i like to feel the bass and these speakers really let you have the physical gut feel of what the bass and bass drum are doing. Other than that they give a very clean and comprehensive musical picture with no unexpected coloring. The sound is quite forward but for me that adds to the clarity.
They are an unusual and modern design and this has to fit your furnishings if you care about these things. These speakers will not disappoint you and will also look beautiful in their own right.
