Bought them for a guy who bought them new 20 years ago. Great sound at low to mid listening volume. At high volume the box makes a resonance sound, not really great. Gives plenty of sound for a medium room (12x20). Big highs, very nice mids, good bass, really fast response. The box is made of fiberglass kind of material so it's really heavy, about 135lbs each. The box is a pure work of art. Need a big amp. They are plugged on a B&K 200.7 and it could be bigger. If you like Totem speakers you will be pleased. Can play a wide range of music from The Eagles, Johnny Cash, San Francisco Orchestra to Between The Buried and Me but theses speakers hates Hip-Hop.
