Panasonic TH-42PZ700U 42 in. Plasma TV Flat Panel Televisions

Panasonic TH-42PZ700U 42 in. Plasma TV Flat Panel Televisions

DESCRIPTION

The Panasonic TH-42PZ700U is one of the most expensive 42-inch plasmas on the market, but it's also the best-performing flat panel of its size we've ever tested. The high price can be blamed squarely on its native resolution--it's the first and only 42-inch 1080p plasma--but the picture quality has little to do with all those pixels. Instead, we noted its deep black levels and realistic shadow detail along with a commendably clean image.

Fantastic television. At the time of purchase I thought 1500.00 was to much to spend but the only had to pay for half. At the time the television gave the best picture period. It also had pixil shift to prevent burn in something plasma televisions can have. It does get warm and use about 3 dollars per month more electricity. Newer Panasonic televisions have better specs but this one still looks good. I would buy the television today. Costc has a lower priced model at 900.00 and it is fantastic too.
