We have used the Pioneer DV-260 for around 5 years now and it has never had any problems. The audio and video output quality has been great. We finally ended up getting rid of our CD changer to save space and played CD through this unit. Sound quality was great. I wish more products could perform as well as this for the length of time we've had this.

Strength:

overall picture quality quick chapter changes

Weakness:

none as of yet

I have been wanting to try a pioneer dvd player, but always ended up with something else. Paid 50 dollars for the 260 at a local pawn shop. I compared it to my jvc and the pioneer is now my main dvd player.Better picture with bright and vibrant colors. Better sound in D.D. and DTS.Not as quick at loading a dvd, but good enough. Overall for an inexpensive dvd player, I am totally satisfied.
