Bottom Line:
Well... I'm not the type of guy writing reviews normally, but i feel I have to warn against this expensive (in Denmark) piece of equipment.

Will not comment much on sound, it's okay (even fine for some bitrates af mps/AAC). Problem is getting sound out of this box... Remote application for iPad/iPhone is a joke, sooo slow, frequently crashing, I then tried remote application for Android on a Nexus 7. Even worse, app crashes 9 out 10 times after launch - when it launches, it cause the NP-30 to crash!

It drops connection to my NAS drive, both on a wireless connection, and on a wired connection.

Used in stand-alone mode (reason I bought this player), you can set it up with a volume control. Bought the BT-100 Bluetooth adaptor also. Nearly blew my amp/speaker. Reason? BT-100 volume does not follow master volume!!

This is really a piece of crap equipment! I have never been more unhappy with a puchase before. Have been hoping for software updates for half a year.

Best thing to say about this player: It connects well to streaming radio, so will use it for this only.
