Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
Best plug-and-play receiver on the market! I've had several XM receivers and this one is tops in my book!

Strengths:
**Easy to install. Hook-up took thirty seconds, at best.

**Great reception!

**Very portable!

Weaknesses:
Would be great to have a remote.

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
I've had mine for just over a year and it's been great! I now rarely use my car radio or CD, there is such a good choice of music and the reception is excellent. The accessory kit to support home installation / use is a worthwhile buy too.

Strengths:
Easy to install and use.
Good programming choice. I particularly like the fact that you can set it to remember your favorite tunes and beep at you when they are being played on other channels.
Programming is often extended for special events, e.g. extra channels for World Cup Soccer, Christmas Music

Weaknesses:
Its small size can make changing channels a bit distracting when you are driving. If you buy the home installation kit it comes with a remote that you can also use in your vehicle - this helps.

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
