Review 1 of 1
Price Paid:
$200.00 Summary: Having recently upgraded my amp to a Marantz 4200, predictably my CD player(toshiba - 6 years old) gave up on me, so I was forced to replace it.
I have heard the debate of multidic versus single disc many times over. However as a lazy listener there is only one choice for me and that is a multichange unit to save me swapping dics all the time.
The clarity is superb on this unit when coupled with the Marantz and mission speakers I have. Bass is punchy, treble is crystal and the presentation seems tyo be spot on to my, albeit amateur, ears.
I have heard reviews of this unit being a bit buggy. I have to say so far (touch wood) I have experrience no problems at all.
A fine addition to my set up.
My set up:
Marantz 4200 av amp/reciever
Mission 732 front speakers
Mission M70 rear speakers
Missiom M7c1 centre speaker
No sub - I live in a flat!!
Quality/ reasonable priced interconnect/ cables.
+ this CD player as source Strengths: Looks
Brand
Sound
It can do HCDC for what its worth!!! Weaknesses: Functionality is a bit clunky and the pre scan on loading a disc can be slow.
