from ebay Summary: This is a review of the Denon D-M30S system. But the new system is similar. So what is listed here must also apply to the new system.
This is a very listenable system. Very sweet treble , lacks some bottom end punch though. But there is very little sibilance in the voices which is commendable.
At a dealer I listened to a NAD/PSB system of about 1000$ and even that had high frequency harshness and sibilance in the midrange. But of course it could play much louder and had a good bass.
I have used this system for light rock, jazz, pop, new age , vocal music etc.
Every thing except hard rock. Strengths: Good treble and midrange. Weaknesses: Not for headbangers.Could use a subwoofer.
