from East Hamilton Radio Summary: Like the other Pioneer recorders that employ the 3 disk player tray, it malfunctioned within the first couple of months (and I hardly use the 3 disk tray). It took 2 months for Pioneer to return the unit to me so that was very disappointing. However, my principal use for this machine is in my recording studio to make final mastered copies of my recordings after running the tracks through various devices and analog outputs. The record tray has always worked perfectly and resultant sound quality has always been flawless. The synchro record feature is very convenient. Strengths: Sound quality. Weaknesses: Cheap construction of the 3 disk player.
