Summary:
Overall, an excellent CD recorder. I would not hesitate to buy another.

Strengths:
Perhaps this unit's greatest strength is that it will pass a digital bitstream from a CD directly through to the CD being recorded with no conversion or modification. The digital copies are bit perfect. In analog mode, the copies also are quite nice, the A-D converter has handled the most daunting music accurately and gracefully. I have used both LPs and CDs run through an MSB Link-DAC for analog sources. Both were recorded very faithfully. The timer is very helpful in the time remaining mode. I have no hesitation in recommending this product.

Weaknesses:
I only have a few quibbles with the unit. First, the pause button takes a second or so to take effect (unlike cassette decks which do so immediately). Secondly, the fast forward seems a little slow. Finally, if there are more than 15 seconds of silence between songs, it will sometimes quit recording.
