Price Paid:  $60.00 from used gera

Summary:
I bought this CD player one and a half year ago-used.It was in top shape with remote control.When it spins the CD is a bit noisy,sound is dull not alive,bass is not quick,like those compact sets of stereo gear.Then I brought NAD 521i to test what's the difference....wow I must say,but nad is 5 times more expensive(but was new).Yamaha is a lot better than CD rom,but for HI-FI(realistic sound) I would not recommend this product.For casual listeners which want average CD quality sound is a bargain,but for more demanding is not an option.

Strengths:
build quality,good for price,better for electronic music.

Weaknesses:
noisy tray,lack of detail,bass
