Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
Cd player has worked flawlessly for me. I prefer listening to this compared to my digital sony dvd/cd 500 player. Have not plunged into SACD or a higher priced cd player, Because this setup sounds great to me. Yamaha cd player doesn't have the high pitch digital effect that most cheap cd players have. Musically the cd player is warm and in combination with a yamaha natural sound m40 amp. It is alittle noisy when changing disks but that to me is nit picking.

Strengths:
sound, 5 disk

Weaknesses:
noisy when changing disks (nit picking), no power on by remote ( I don't care about this myself but some may).

Similar Products Used:
sony 500 dvd/cd player

Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $250.00 from Audio Center

Summary:
Good Cd player, no problems. It is quick to read CD's and the fact you can change CD's while it is playing is cool.
The price was not that great. It is too long , but that comes with a 5 disc player.

Strengths:
Durability, Speed, X Change

Weaknesses:
Size

Similar Products Used:
sony and tosiba

Review 3 of 3

Summary:
After the warranty expired, the spindle motor developed a bearing problem, making the player unusable. It would not read any disc placed in the unit... it couldn't find them!
The cost to replace this is almost half the cost of a new one!

Strengths:
Initially, very good performance, easy to use & programme.
