Summary:
I was very astonished when I replaced my first CD player, Philips 930 with Arcam alpha 8. Suddenly, every instrument in every music(including vocals) began to be separated and made its own sound that fullfilled my room. And now I am deeply moved with my new friend, Sphinx Project 9 CD player. It gives life and warmth and emotions to its sound. I first found the "delicious sound" in my room.
I think it excels Copland's CDP 288 in its life appealing aspect.
