Summary: This player doesnt sound too bad but not good either. Its edgy in the treble and sounds relatively aggressive, so at loud volumes beware!!(at least in my modest system)
The real bad thing though is that this player seems to have alot of software bugs?? Sometimes it reads a cd and then for the same cd two minutes later it doesn't read it. It claims to play CDR/W but It has refused to play a couple of CDRs that played quite easily in a sony minisystem...... I guess that means that the cd player in a $250 dollar minisytem is better than my $150 separate cd player then.
It is too picky, choosiy and annoying to get a good write up from me even if it sounded good, which it doesn't
Strengths: Multi disc, cd text..... thats all
Weaknesses: Crappy software, overly aggressive sound, just downright bad

Summary: This is a nice looking, and sounding inexpensive C.D.player.It has dig output (which is pretty common these days) analog volume control which is nice. It is quiet when changing disks. It is a bit slow but whats a few more seconds.I would recommend it as a good all around cheap, cd player.
Strengths: I like the look of the new sony stuff. Has clean, crisp sound, and title all your discs.
Weaknesses: Build quality seems to be a little light.
