Summary:
Great CD player, considering the price. Build is excellent, metal everywhere, just like the XE900. This player also has Sony's great Fixed Disc Pick-up.Sound is excellent, quite neutral. My dad owns a XE900, and comparing the sound, I can say there really isn't much difference between the two.

I use Cambridge Audio Pacific interconnects to connect the player to my Sony TA-FA3ES amp. If you own a player in this pricerange/class, you really should buy some good interconnects. It makes a big difference.
