Summary:
Very good product, it allway worked well, found any cd instantly, very fast track skipping.
Founctions are simple, interesting and not useless.
I'm able to have a very good soundstage with this cd player and it fit well the rest of my system. The cd player seem to be of a good construction quality, it seem solid. The multi cd is interesting.

A very good cd player for anybody who wnat to listen to music... Only audiophile will not like it.

Strengths:
A good, solid and reliable cd player. Never had any problem!
Allway worked like a want
Have a nice sound quality even for a 1 bit DAC

Weaknesses:
It's not an audiophile cd players.

Price Paid:  $190.00 from Cashies

Summary:
I dont care what other people say about this player but it is a very good machine. Being a carni it is used every weekend for hours on end being crushed under tht ewieight of a 500w amp. in the process carni eqipment isnt handled like home hi-fi and it gets its fair shere of knocking around. and in the 8 months i have had it it has run flawlessly, i also found some of the fetues such as fade very useful.
Email me at x1dude@aol.com if you would like to discuss furthur.

Strengths:
good durability, reliability and features

Weaknesses:
none that i have founs of yet

Similar Products Used:
varoius other stacker cd systems and standolone sc players.

Review NaN of

Price Paid:  $180.00 from Best Buy

Summary:
I have run my CDP-ce315 for 4 years constantly in "Shuffle" mode. I have had the problem in another review with the CD changer not acknowledging that certain discs are in the player. Also the player started randomly ejecting. I solved this by taking every thing apart, cleaning it, and putting it back together. It still often won't acknowledge discs. IT'S A VERY CONSUMER-GRADE PRODUCT. I PAID TOO MUCH.

Strengths:
It's worked under a continuous duty cycle for a LONG time. Audio Fidelity is great.

Weaknesses:
It has had several problems mentioned above. However, if you have the SLIGHTEST mechanical and electrical know-how, you unit will probably be OK.

Review NaN of , from Syracuse, NY

Summary:
I bought Sony against my better judgment, and I paid--the thing started getting flaky on me after about 6 months. Suddenly decided to ignore CDs on a random basis, telling me that trays were empty when they most decidedly were not. Until the 6 mo. mark, I was happy -- though the changer is a bit noisy -- but I just can't recommend Sony anything anymore (I lost a Sony receiver ages ago.)

Strengths:
Sounds OK

Weaknesses:
It BROKE
