I like this machine so much I bought a second one. Now that the numbnutts at HK closed shop at proceed they're not making them anymore. Sure, there's still Mark Levinson but why pay three times as much for a less reliable product? Also I think the minimalistic silver/white fascia looks timeless.
Get them while you still can! Strengths:
Like the CDP it never skips or hangs. Industrial design cd mechanism best ever; built with sleek machined drawer.
After software it update also plays cd-rw Weaknesses:
Early model had some problems with disc clamp (also a frequent problem with mark levinson no.39 and 37) but this is fixed at no cost.
