Summary:
Finally found the DAC to go with it. Ofcourse the beautifull fully balanced Proceed DAP. Sound is absolutely awesome, details with HDCD are unbelievable. Again everything is extremely user friendly, DAP has even got a user definable mute and volume control if you switch inputs it lowers the volume and then raises it again!

Strengths:
In stark contrast to quite a lot of blabla-brands Proceed was able to put together a line of High-end products with unprecedented comfort and ease of use.

Summary:
I like this machine so much I bought a second one. Now that the numbnutts at HK closed shop at proceed they're not making them anymore. Sure, there's still Mark Levinson but why pay three times as much for a less reliable product? Also I think the minimalistic silver/white fascia looks timeless. Get them while you still can!

Strengths:
Like the CDP it never skips or hangs. Industrial design cd mechanism best ever; built with sleek machined drawer. After software it update also plays cd-rw

Weaknesses:
Early model had some problems with disc clamp (also a frequent problem with mark levinson no.39 and 37) but this is fixed at no cost.
