Review 2 of 7 Summary: Well, it was my own fault. I tried aa Technics because it was smaller (fit better into my cabinet). Boy, did I regret that! I reurned the technics "junk-box" and bought this Pioneer. Fully pleased with the sound quality, quietness of operation, speed of changing discs, everything but the remote. Here's a hint to those of you considering this unit. I have a Radio Shack (yes, Radio Shack) 6 in 1 learning remote. The model is 15-1994. I bought it for $29.95. Teach this remote what you need from the Pioneer remote and save your eyesight. This is the most amazing learning remote I have ever used. It has been able to operate every feature of my Denon, Hitachi, Sony, JVC and Pioneer components. Incredible! Strengths: Digital out, Quietness, Clean Quality Sound. Weaknesses: Remote is WAY too tiny. Similar Products Used: Pioneer, Philips, Technics (sl-mc7 - for two days - see that review)
