Bottom Line: I got a Cambridge 640C during 5 years and it played music with a nice quality but the reliability was not very high. Before I got a Pioneer PD-65 since 1993 and it still works perfectly. So I decided to listen to the new Pioneer PD-D9 MK2 at Radio St-Hubert in Montreal. It was a brand new one directly from the box. Very quickly I enjoyed what I listened. I also listened to the Exposure 2010 S that was a mismatch with my system. Too urgent, too nervous, I felt stressed at listening to it. After just several hours, the Pioneer PD-D 9 I bought is a very fine SACD / CD player with a very nice feel of quality. The sound is not hi-fi but just natural, transparent and the soundstage is getting better, more precise. After 15 hours it already surpasses the Cambridge 640C.
