Construction.
Weakness:
The chromium plated parts gets oxidized easily and needs replacement of the part. Beautifully constructed, with state of the art design of black and gold decoration. The performance is great, either the sound clarity or authority, It even defeat Marantz SA-14. ver.2 ( which has SACD. ) Compared to 1621, whcih is the reference line of the mbl family, 1521 has less strength, clarity and the ability to organize the soundstage. outstanding resolution, unfailing musicality
Weakness:
none a splendid unit, built to last, sonically spectacular. It is extremely resolving but unfailingly musical. I wanted a transport to replace my beloved forsell, and, after auditioning a number of units, I decided none is better than the MBL. Similar Products Used: forsell air bearing II |
