Bottom Line: I did a direct comparison between the marantz 65SE and the Marantz CC-870. Using a Coaxial digital cable running through an EAD Theater Master Encore the CC-870 blow awsy the 65SE. I really wanted to like the 65SE because I have had bad luck with changers lately, but what can I say the 870 had more air around the music, more detail, a cleaner sound. The 65SE sounded pale in comparison. The 870 is a great player.

Bottom Line: I have had the cc-870 fo a year. It has preformed well
one of the features it has when a CD is removed and reinstalled it remembers what slot it goes in.
