Review NaN of , from vancouver bc canada

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
I've owned this cd player for 12 years now and the only problem I have had is sometimes when I open the drawer it closes by itself right away, minor annoyance.
I purchased the dz-121 along with a luxman r-113 and enjoyed every single cd played on it.
I can't remember how much I payed for it.
plays cds just as well as my pioneer dvd player except for the newer formats(vcd,mp3)

Strengths:
high quality sound(optical digital output)

Weaknesses:
aside from minor mechanical problem none

Review NaN of , from Argentina

Price Paid:  $400.00 from Saint Elloit SA

Summary:
Ii´s a good producr but after four or five years using it ,starts with very frequent troubles in readin CD.
Al last when you need a replacement for the optical, yo received the incredible new . Sony doesnt produce the model KSS 125 any more.
So friends, trough your CD player by the toilet.
It´s unacceptable that a well known trade mark doesn´t have any single representative i n South America whith a CD opticals stock to solve the problems.
Dont, buy Luxman if you want to avoid headaches.

Strengths:
Good quality sound

Weaknesses:
Absolutely unstable the optical.

Review NaN of , from Wheaton, Illinois

Summary:
I believe Luxman is under-appreciated in this country.
Their products are well-designed, well-built, and reliable.
I've owned a Luxman DZ-121 CD-player without the slightest
problem for eight years. It has a neutral treble, a musical
midrange, and clean bass. It does not like bright cables
or thin-sounding speakers. I use thick, gold-plated Sony
RCA interconnects. It does not require esoteric cables
to sound good. Too often, expensive cables can ruin the
sound of a well-matched system.
It sounds great with tube amplification. I am currently
using a Sansui 1000a tube receiver. The combination really
sounds beautiful together.

Strengths:
Smooth Sound, Nice Midrange, Clean Treble, Solid Build

Weaknesses:
Requires Neutral Interconnects

Similar Products Used:
Sony ES, Philips-Magnavox
