Summary:
A great cdp. Sounds wonderful, not much else to say,
I am so satisfied. It sounds very real. I have the Zero One alpha which is just like the epsilon but has a different sheath on the power cord. Great quality parts and Butch Daniel's is very helpful. Check out the site to learn more (www.danielsaudio.com) I have tested it (but not in my home system) against very pricey players and I still could say that I prefered it. Only 300 Zero One's were made so if you see one grab it, you will not be dissapointed.

Strengths:
Clear and accurate. Impeccable timing. Sounds very
close to live unamplified music.

Weaknesses:
None that I can think of. Some who have never heard live music might not know what to expect. It is solid but does not look like an "audiophile" cd player. Also, they are hard to find.

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
