Bottom Line:
Creek Destiny CD Player is very enjoyable listen to-
Music is clear & uncolored sounding organic.
Aspects of this player are understated but well presented.
I've had many cd players of high quality+ expense-
Creek Destiny is one of the most well rounded & consistent players with all music styles.
It looks very good and has features like display dimmer.

Bottom Line:
Bummer. $2,100 & the laser failed after 5 years. Creek said, 'Not our problem. The people who make the laser make crap' . Shame on Creek. I have a 1982 $99 Magnovox CD player whose laser is still going strong, and, when it is run through my $1,000 Parasound D/A converter, it sounds almost as good as did the Creek for the short time it worked. Never, never buy this crap.
