I got It! I came home from work today and there on the steps was a boxfrom Camelot. Opened the box and there was this nice looking black
player with Camelot written on the front. Very nicely built. It has a
green display that you can turn off. As usual I have to tell you what
equipment I have (Krell 3001 and NHT 3.3's biamped). Most of you know
this already so lets get on with the sound. First of all I must say
the left channel on my Krell died! I don't know what happened because
before I shipped the Resolution CD50 back it played just fine and that
was the last time it was on. Oh well, I will have to call Krell Monday
Morning. Keep in mind that I am only listening to one channel as I
attempt to write this review. When sound first came out of the
Morganna, there was tremedous bass, compared to the Resolution CD50 (I
had to adjust my bass amp volume way down). Then when the vocals came
through there was a hallow of air around the Diana Krall's voice. There
was lots of air coming out of that one speaker(More than any other
player I have had in the system). And the best part of all for me was
an upront presentation, but not too forward ala Theta Miles. There
was good slam , very good pacing and dynamics. Low level resolution
was also supurb. In short, I want to say that it is the best player I
have ever heard, but I can't say that with one channel and 30 minutes
out of the box. I will say I hope the sound does not change too much
from what I hear now. Thank you for listening and I hope to give you a
folow up once it has had a chance to cook in.
