Bottom Line:

I've been listening C.E.C. comparing to my regular CD which is Atoll cd100. The differences are not huge but... C.E.C. tl51xr is more 3D voice establishing, I mean source of sounds are much better pointed and located with "the body" of musicians. The sound is very light and full of air. Lot of details.

Bottom Line:

This is a very good cd player, not only at the price range, but at any price. Yes you can buy more expensive but how mutch better? (if you have $10,000, get the EmmLabs) In fact, this unit is a keeper. If you like good resolution and analog sound, you will like the CEC. I'm pretty impress, it compares with anything I'ved owned (see the list) and in certain criteria, beats them. Most of them are more expensive...but in digital, price is not a warranty, so don't take my word for it , try it. ( Rega,Linn, Resolution Audio, Ayre, EmmLabs)

Bottom Line:

The TL-51XR is a fantastic CD player.
Warm and deliciously sweet. Analog sound.

Bottom Line:

This excellent product for the price range. I had tried several product before Carry CDP-1, Carry 303 and Arcam FJ, this unit is much better resolution, soundstage and very warm sound. The price is much less compare with Carry CDP-1. This is very good value for CD player in this price range, althought the name CEC is not as famous as other CD player. It is worth it to consider.
