Strengths: Was it worth the money. Its definitely superior to the marantz cd player for half the price and I cant say that its offensive. On the whole informative, the best part of this cd player is that it keeps out the bad things of cd playback, namely fatigue and high frequency coarseness. Partnered with a good amp and revealing speaker it will not be shown in poor light. On its own this cd player may well be bettered by others, but a part of as package that AA make with their Primo series, its a decent piece of kit. Together they look good and perform very well indeed.Weaknesses: Skip and reverse are on the remote and cannot be operated from the main unit. The remote is as skimpy a piece of plastic as you can get. Again the size means that it looks a little odd in a full rack.Bottom Line: This is a compact half width cd player that has been with me for some six odd months now. An attractively made box, I like its simple looks. Functions are very very basic but enough.Sound quality pleasant and refined.
