Bottom Line:
I had looked at this camera many times in the past year, and had passed on it for various reasons. I finally decided to buy it when I could get it for $270.00 instead of the $400 it was at introduction. I'm glad I waited, pricewise, but it's still a great camera. This camera is listed as a compact, not a sub compact, but it's much smaller than you think. It's definitely pants pocketable, if not shirt pocketable. The colors totally pop. I love the hotshoe option, even if I'm not sure I'm going to use it. This camera is for light travelling, when I just don't want to use my main gear.
