Review 1 of 3

Price Paid:  $39.00 from eBay

Summary:
Average quality cable. Much superior than the cheap RCA, GE, Monster, RadioShack, AR or whatever crap you found at your local mass market electronic stores. But then again, use digital-coax by all means if you are a serious music listener.

Strengths:
Inexpensive alternative to mass-market optilink junk cables

Weaknesses:
Can't find any strength with this optilink cable.

Price Paid:  $100.00

Summary:
Currently using this cable for both my CD & CD Recorder. Excellent improvement over traditional analog RCA cables. Solid construction and attractive. Very crisp sound. Currenly replacing all interconnects with Audioquest.

None

Review 3 of 3 , from Lenexa, Kansas (Suburb of KC)

Price Paid:  $50.00 from Audioport

Summary:
This cable is great and just from the look of it you can tell it is a good cable, but It's main purpose in my system it is used as a digital out for DTS and Dolby Digital in my DVD player. my system is very revealing because I have Magnapan MMGs, Monitor silver 10 center, B&W DM 303, and a B&W ASW 500 Sub. This type of cable somtimes can make your home theater equipment finicky. Because If you want to use a co-ax digital out from your DVD player sometimes on some equipment it doesn't sound as crisp or defined on your system. Because of this instead of using the Audioquest VSD-1 (wich can be used as a dgital co-ax). Even Audioquest themselves says that you have to test the difference between co-ax and digital connections in your system. but I have to say that this cable sounded way better on my DVD of AKIRA than the VSD-1 and while the This cable is better for my system it may not be better for yours compared to a co-ax cable. So go to your local Audioquest retailer and be shure to borrow cable before you buy it.

Strengths:
This cable like most Audioquest cable is great sounding for the money. They have a wide range of prices on all of their cables, but all of there cables perform exceptionally for the money that one has to spend.

Weaknesses:
(I heard at from the guys at Auidoport) That it is easy to break becuase for the most part the conductor in the cable is a piece of glass and should be treated as such.

(for a Digital conection) Audioquest vsd-1
