Review 1 of 8

Price Paid:  $0.00 from borrowed

Summary:
Very pleasing and dynamic sound as long as you don't play solo piano or accoustic string quartet recordings. Then the timbre of the instruments is not natural. It becomes metalic. Very exciting on all kind of jazz and rock music. Anything but classical.

Strengths:
Smooth and dynamic very exciting and pleasing

Weaknesses:
Lack of natural colors in accoustic instruments recordings

Review 3 of 8

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
After having tested a lot of interconnect cables (wireworld, Nordost, qued), I have discovered the YBA Diamond - a world of difference ! This one really highlights all the instruments composing the music you are listing to where the others only make a nice mixture of sound. Diamond gives an airy sound. Everything become bright and clear without emphasising the bass or the treble - very natural ! On tweak : It is possible to relise your Diamond yourself by bying 2 x 1,23 meter. Then, use WBT connectors otherwise it becomes too tricky. The result is very good but nunfortunately not as airy as the original one. In a few words, once you have acquired an YBA Diamond cable, you don't have to look after a good interconnect anymore as this cable suits to a lot of systems and especially with tube amplifiers. You know you're OK for a very long time !

Strengths:
Very detailed, airy and neutral, the best I have heard and a reference.

Weaknesses:
Do not bend the cable too much or you could dammage the connectors.

Price Paid:  $500.00 from AGENT

Summary:
Nothing to touch it at price point, need to run in & I mean run in or it will sound bright & edgy, but proper run in will be rewarded with silky smooth sound , deep sounstage with bass extention, & very very detail, I used it between
'dac' to pre & between pre to power. should be given 10 gold star, this is the cable to own, funny though I don't feel any itch to change it.

Strengths:
DEEP SOUNSTAGE,BASS EXTENTION,AIRY SILKY SMOOTH.

Weaknesses:

Focused, sharp

Weaknesses:
Female voices sound awfull, poor performance for large chorus
