from Thomas TV Summary: I'm surprised that there are only 3 reviews for the Twinax Plus.
It is a FINE cable and I'm glad I finally made the purchase after having read about its high rating in Home Theatre's interconnect showdown almost a couple of years ago.
I've heard that Ultralink has purchased XLO which may be a bad thing if they don't maintain the quality and price of this excellent product. Strengths: Even with no burn-in time I noticed a clearer more defined soundstage with tighter bass and nice ambience in the upper ranges when playing cd's on my Pioneer laserdisc player. Trying it on my Malata dvd player gave a similar effect. Very bassy tracks like Parachute Club's Innuendo lost some of that muddy, boominess while synthesizer heavy music like Thomas Dolby sounded even clearer and more enjoyable. Weaknesses: Nil. The Twinax is a solidly constructed, excellent sounding cable for the price. Recommended! Similar Products Used: Canare C6, Audioquest Ruby, Van de Hul 300II
