Price Paid:  $50.00 from OZ Enterprises

Summary:
This braided cable looks cool! Hooked them up to a pair of Klipsch ProMedia 2.1s which have naturally bright and unforgiving highs due to its horn tweeter. Extremely lengthy burn-in time! I've been running these bad boys in for roughly over 75 hours now and am noticing an increase in detail, more controlled, solid bass and a slightly recessed midrange. The treble frequencies have completely lost all its harshness and zing but kept its detail and smooth sheen. Put in a couple of reference cd's and only now did I hear Clapton clear his throat (so discreetly) right before the intro to Hey Hey on his Unplugged album. Matt Sorum's drums on Anthem's Burning For Buddy Tribute cd sounded more like the same live Yamaha drums that were used on Gn'R's Use Your Illussion tour. Overall, I'm very impressed with this cable's character. Smooth but detailed presentation! Great match for a bright, fatiguing system. For that dirt cheap price, this one's highly recommended! Also, special thanks goes out to Omer from OZ Enterprises for being amazingly helpful in customizing the XLO's for the Klipsch Promedias. Maybe I should order a pair of Audioquest Type 4's for comparison, eh?

Strengths:
Solid, "kick-you-in-the-teeth" bass and smooth, sweet highs.

Weaknesses:
Mids a little recessed...

Summary:
Well, it's nothing short of amazing for $3CAD per foot. I felt as if I was a blind man who had regained his sight.

Strengths:
You name it. Great bass (I thought I had a sub hooked up!) but not muddy. Excellent soundstage. Very smooth highs. THX certified to 95 feet!!!

Weaknesses:
Absolutely none.

Marantz MA-9S2 Power AmplifierThe list above has one tenet that I continue to hold true: high powered amplifiers are necessary to reproduce the full dynamic range of music with most speakers. This became apparent when I changed from the 100 Watt per channel Bella Extreme 100 to the 250 Watt.....

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
