Summary:
I use the PB5 to replace a QED Qunex 2 I had been using between the pre-out and main-in sockets of my NAD C370 amp. The sonic character of the Qunex 2 had clashed with that of the Van den Hul D102III I am using between my CDP and amp. So in went the PB5; to keep the my cabling more or less identical... And, in a nutshell, I reckon the PB5 sounds very much like a D102III; albeit in a less fanciful casing. If you are hankering after the D102III but blech at its price, the PB5 makes for a very worthwhile alternative. Highly recommended.

Weaknesses:
Thinner insulation than the D102III's, and does not have the latter's gilt phono plugs; plastic only.
