Bottom Line: MICHELL ORBE RECORD DECK. SME SERIES 5 ARM. VANDENHUL MC1 SPECIAL CARTRIDGE. WHAT CAN I SAY? THE TOTAL SOUND OF THIS COMBO CAN ONLY BE DESCRIBED IN ONE WORD ....AWSOME.... TO GET ANYWHERE NEAR THE SOUND OF THIS DECK YOU WILL TO PAY SILLY MONEY FOR CD PLAYER. IT IS ALSO THE CAUSE OF MUCH LOST SLEEP AS I TRAWL THROUGH MY VINYL COLLECTION UNTIL THE SMALL HOURS.

Bottom Line: The best digital interconnect I have ever heard (which is saying something as it is only UK£75!). It has made a massive difference to my system between CD Transport and DAC, with improved musicality, bass and timing. It is one of the only TRUE 75-OHM cables around (most which claim to be are not really), and this is probably the reason. It also significantly decreases jitter levels, even to that below many one-box players!
The only problem is that they are very hard to obtain, even in the UK, and may be unavailable in the states.
Works especially well with Audiolab and Linn equipment.
