Summary:
Among the more likable cable at its price point. No equal. More cohesive sounding than the other best buy UK cable which was cable talk3 . The bass is what is immediately noticed, among the succesfull 79 strand cables.

budget cable for home audio starter systems.

Every car audio customer was a convert having listened to sample systems.

Strengths:
Articulation in bass, well projected immediate front and back staging.

Weaknesses:
none to compare at the price.

Bandridge 2 x 2.5
Cable Talk 3.1
Ixos 6003

Profigold LC 8408
QED Micro

Qed Qudos Original is an excellent cable, I tried all the above and this one is my favourite...

Bass- deep but not overblown...
midrange- natural...
treble- very detailed and smooth...never harsh or bright, I can now listen to music for hours...

I would be a happy man with all the cables I´ve tried...until I tried this one :-)

I can´t wait to try QED Silver, everyone says it´s even better...

ps: from all the above cables I also liked a lot Cable Talk 3.1 and Ixos 6003 and the reasons I prefer QED are:
Talk 3.1 has harsh treble and overblown bass with some types of music, I mean it sounds excellent with some and horrible with other.
Ixos 6003 has a very bad dielectric, the cable actually sounds great (=QED) but it oxidizes after 1 year...

Strengths:
Everything...

Weaknesses:
none at the price

Similar Products Used:
too many...

Review NaN of , from Leuven, Belgium

Price Paid:  $3.00 from Ghijsens Hifi

Summary:
I got this cable to go with my tannoy mx-range and my sony gear. The sony gear is a little bright to my tastes, even combined with the smooth tannoy, so it needed just a little taming. My hifi-dealer recommended my the qed qudos to calm things down a bit, which is exactly what it does. With my monitor pc cable (not available in UK I think) things sounded a smidgen to enthousiastic, bass a little overblown, treble a little harsh. With the qed qudos (biwire), things really settled down. Bass had more control, the midrange was more lifelike, and the treble was more fluid.
The only cables I know with these quality are top-end Vandenhul, but they'll cost you 5 times the price of this bargain.
The only downside is that is does NOT look impressive, it looks like you got it in some DIY shop.
This is a killer-bargain ! Go get it !
Thanks to everyone for their contribution to this wonderfull website , keep it up !

Strengths:
Amazing value for the price, control , fluidity and imaging

Weaknesses:
A little stiff, so hard to handle, doesn't look the least impressive in plain white.

Similar Products Used:
monitor pc bingo, cobra, bandridge
