Review 1 of 4

Summary:
The best sound ever at its pricepoint! It does magic on source components. Better than anything I have tried to date. Greater upgrade than any other piece of my equipment.Rave reviews from Stereotimes,Soundstage, etc. The only other cords that meet or exceed are the Power snakes.

Strengths:
Difficult to drape. Can easily damage conductors

Weaknesses:
Expensive

Summary:
I can't believe the can get away with charging that much for a power cord!!!! This cord is a complete joke. I compared it to my CPCC Model II, and at $270 it was three times quieter and had twice as much depth. Do not Buy this product.

Review 3 of 4

Summary:
I know what the guy who reviewed this cable just before me means, but if you think the basic Electraglide is good, you've got to hear the new
Nordost El Dorado, which is even better: it drops the noise floor so far
down you can hear detail like never before. Same price. To be fair to
Electraglide, whose post this is supposed to be, I expect the Reference at
$1200 is truly fine stuff. My very brief experience with it yielded an
impressively deep sound stage. The El Dorado doesn't do that, just lets
more musical information through. If the Electraglide Reference can do
both -- for double the bucks -- well there you are. All three of these
cables do demonstrate to all but the most hard-headed, that power cable
do make one hell of a difference. Or in other words, the makers of
cd players and amps are doing their jobs right. Cable shouldn't have to
make this much difference!

Review 4 of 4

Summary:
This cable is like upgrading to a better component piece. I have never heard a power cord do this much to sound. The bass goes deeper and the soundstage opens up beyond belief!! I can only imagine what the reference or fatboy will do $1200 and $1800 accordingly. I was using reputable cords before but they were not in the same league. You can find them used on the website fairly cheap. I paid $200 a piece for mine. What a STEAL!! At $600 they are WORTH IT.Somewhat difficult to drape due to the flat conductor used. My advice. Don't waste your time on any other power cords. Run down to the closest Electraglide dealer and take a listen. They do need a long burn in period but even cold they sound like nothing you have ever heard unless you own the $3000 NBS power cord. Better than ESP? UNFORTUNATELY YES.

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
