Review 1 of 1

Price Paid:  $151.00 from www.audioadvisor.com

Summary:
I'm actually reviewing the Cardas Quadlink-Five Power Cord. This has to be THE Holy Grail of all accessories you can buy.My Roksan 96/24 Kandy CD player used to sound rather good w/o it(supplied),however, now I can't believe the substantial improvement that the Cardas has made. How does the Cardas compare to other power cord upgrades?I don't really know.I do know that the improvement is so great I'm very pleased with the Cardas. Now,I've finally had a taste of High End.Are you kidding, for $150?No,I'm not!I'm truly thrilled by it.I never knew that replacing the power cord could make such a major difference.More so that an upgrade in interconnect, more so than an upgrade in speaker cable. Now,I can appreciate those upgrades too.I guess I started at the wrong end!

Strengths:
Smooth, clear, detailed realism.Has to be The Holy Grail of all accesories.

Weaknesses:
None

Magnepan Magneplanar MG 1.6 User Review

In my judgment the advantage of the MG 1.6 (and other Magneplars), stems from the following: = It is a full-range dipole, and = It has uses low-mass, planar drivers for the whole audio spectrum. These attributes account for its extraordinary clarity, coherence, “air”...
