The Canare 4S11 bi-wire cable connects my 4B-sst2 to the Stratus Gold-i's. I switched between the Canares, a standard 12 AWG multi strand generic audio cable (not bi-wired) and a bi-wire IXOS comprising 15 and 13 AWG bi-wire pairs. All wires are between 9 and 10 feet. I had to switch between cables 6 total times to finally get a feeling for what I was hearing. I consider myself a low budget audiophiler... so I always look for value.

The Canare won out. I would describe the sound characteristic as a bit brighter in the mids and top end, and a bit leaner in the bass. The leanness sometimes seems like less bass, but actually I think it is just a bit cleaner. I prefer that.
