Summary:
These speaker cables are really a bargain. I happened to give them a brief audition at the store and brougth them home for a deeper audition with my own system. I was kind of unhappy with my Audioquest cables because of lack of detail and transparency in the sound. Everithing sounded muddy and lifeless. The music changed drastically as I connected the silver Apature. Everything opened up: the highs became clearer and more detailed. Voices became more realistic, and basses reached deep bottom levels. I recommend these cables to anyone who is really interested in listening to music as it is. Before spending thousands of bucks in a cable, give the Apature a chance.
