Review 1 of 41

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
I have just tried out the Python MI 2, These have greatly improved the image depth of my system. I tried these after I tried changing the inductors of my speakers to the film inductors made by Alpha Core, which made a significant inprovements in image and low end. I thried Alpha Core products based on the theory of signal skin depth and impedance variation. I suspect the longer runs your cables are, the more you will benefit from this technology.

Strengths:
More image depth.

Weaknesses:
Youe really need to get the largest size they provide to get the most. Not their recommended size.

self built. cables. monster cables, others.

Review 2 of 41

Price Paid:  $400.00 from Alpha Core

Summary:
Bought the Alpha-Core M2 (10Ga Cu)Veracity to replace my DH Labs silver sonic Q10. The Alpha Core blows away the DH Labs in presence, bass, detailing and rhythm. Regret not replacing earlier. Brings out the beauty in the amp/speaker combo. The Zoebel networks contribution to the equation is unknown. This cable really brings out the best in my Audio Physic Virgo's.

Strengths:
Excellent rhythm, bass, and treble. Easy to listen to. Have not heard of other cables in this price range.

Weaknesses:
None

DH Labs Q10

Review 3 of 41

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
Formerly owned the MI2 Veracity. Currently own the MI2 Python Biwires, which eliminate more EMI & RFI w/ twists. Used in conjuction w/ my Krell HT system. There is real science behind these cables. Contemplated on getting Cardas Golden Cross but could not justify the 4x price (used). Great buy if you can find it in the used market. The fact that they seamlessly blend into my cherry stained oak hardwood floors is an added bonus.

Strengths:
warm, soundstage, detail, huge bargain buy, great construction

Weaknesses:
none

kimber 4tc/8tc

Review 4 of 41

Price Paid:  $135.00 from eBay auction

Summary:
I am using the Alpha Core Veracity (M1-2, 9 awg) for the upper end of my bi-wired front home theatre towers. The lower end is Kimber Kable 4TC, shotgunned, a single run to each lower binding post. For comparison, I have reversed the hook-up, putting the Kimber 4TC on the upper end and the Goertz cables on the lower end. No comparison. I immediately noticed a lack of detail and depth of soundstage, and Kimber 4TC is one heck of a good speaker cable. The M1-2 cables are very revealing and excel on mid and high frequency detail. The soundstage is huge! I also noticed that the M1-2''s are more extended than the Kimber 4TC in the bass as well. An extremely impressive speaker cable, especially for the price. My ratings therefore have been made easy. 5 star''s overall and 5 star''s for value. Like the reviewer well below, I will not ever part with these! Well done Alpha Core!

Strengths:
Very revealing. Huge soundstage. Precise imaging.

Weaknesses:
None at this price.

Review 5 of 41

Price Paid:  $129.00 from Direct at Alphacore

Summary:
I got this cable to replace my QED Silver Anniversary''s and I was blown away by it. Everything seem to come to live, and the brightness seem to be dissappear. Bass are much tighter and the midrange is fuller and more musical compared to what I had before. The Kimber 8TC is similar in performance (more to the warmth side) but I like the Alphacore better because of its price and its all round ability. buy it!

Strengths:
Beautiful cables at the price. Makes Nordost and Kimber look overpriced!

Weaknesses:
Stiffness, but that adds to its uniqueness.

Similar Products Used:
QED Silver Anniversary Kimber 8TC/4TC Nordost Blue Heavens
