Summary:
This pure copper loudspeakercable has been available for a while now at "DÉ" Hifiwinkels and it is a welcome alternatif for the hobbyist who does not want or is not able to spend huge amounts of money for his cables. But still you can say -apart from the money- that this cable is a good example of a first step into the high-end cable world. The origin of this cable was well-known to us, but still we tested the cables in a lot of different combinations before we decided that this cable could carry the AH! brandname.
The cableconstruction is simple: 4 massive copper wires. Two wires for the positive signal and two for the negative signal. It is available in different configurations: spade/spade, banana/banana, spade/banana, one-side banana only, one-side spade only. The cable looks neat and the solderingwork is very well executed.

The cable of itself has a friendly, open character. No harsh sound, no vague imaging. Using these cables in your system might be best described with "a pleasant and musical performance". So these can be really recommended and will perform well in most systems. To be sure that these cables fit with your demands, you can evaluate them in one of the shops and after that during a few days at home in your system. For sure the price will not be the bottle-neck, as a set of 2 x 2.5 meters (8 feet each) with bananas or spades on both sides costs only HFL 175,- (US $ 85.-). Maybe this is the cable for you?!

Moscode 402Au OLT stereo power amplifier Review

George is adamant about the fact that the Moscode 402Au is not just a tube gain stage slapped onto a solid-state power amplifier; rather, it is a tube amplifier with a MOSFET output stage.

Lowther’s DX-65 driver in the Teresonic Magus XR Review

A new driver from Lowther is real news. A new five inch driver is even rarer news, so it was with great anticipation that I waited on this pair of speakers to arrive.

Aune Mini Headphone DAC User Review

The unit arrived from China well packed and everything seem to be in place. No external abuse by the carriers. The only problem was the power supply it came with. The box came with a cheap step-down converter.
