Since I was so impressed by the IC-300 interconnects (see my review), I decided to buy 4 of the AC-3's and hear what they have to offer. I've had these cables for 3 months but the sonic benefits were immediate and obvious from the first time I listened to them. I believe the most important quality of this power cord is the...
-Focus- The imaging now became more solid and coherent then ever. There is absolutely no doubt of where each instrument or "element" is placed in the stage. Like a sniper's scope that can pin point and zoom in onto every instrument.
-Holographic Image- The 3D Image is a bi-product of the cable's focus but it's such a huge improvement that it needs its own paragraph. The elements in the music come to life with an organic aura. The AC-3 is like 3D glasses for your ears. This is what I craved from high end audio all along and I finally have it.
-Details- This may also be a bi-product of the cable's focus. As I said, you can pin point or hone in onto the musical elements and at the same time, the details have unleashed. I was impressed with the details of the IC-300 interconnects but the AC-3 power cords have taken it to a much higher level. My Scanspeak 6600 tweeters are able reproduce great details from my music but now I can easily hear the tiny micro details.
Final Thoughts: The AC-3 power cord has proven to be a solid backbone to my system. It is LAT's most expensive cable and also, probably, their best. I have no regrets with buying the AC-3 cables. I only regret not purchasing them sooner.

Wow, what can i say. When i read the reviews for the IC interconnects, i knew i had to get this cable. When i opened the box it looked really good. after that i plugged it in and i was stunned and amazed. The previous power cord that i was using was the PSAudio xStream Plus SC. All i have to say was the AC-3 signature blew the psaudio cable out the water. The accuracy was amazing and it was very musical. The bass traveled far more out of the speaker and it was in the center of the woofer, The AC-3 delivered a full sound on my dynaudio BM12a's and I was so happy. Also it was very neutral, pretty much no emphasis on bass or highs, it was well balanced. I am definitely going to replace all of my power cords with Lat International.

Strength:

Exceeds performance of a number competing power cords I have tried; some of which were significantly more expensive.

Weakness:

None

I have purchased the LAT International AC-3 Signature to audition and possibly keep. It is their top of the line power cord and the price reflects it at 899.00. I already own another of their signature series cables: the IC-300 Signature interconnect. The IC-300 Signature is a superb cable which made me curious at to if the mate, the AC-3 Signature power cord would be just as impressive.

Well I must say it is just as impressive. The build, fit and finish is professional and plush looking. The connectors, I am told, are the most expensive and best available. As far as performance is concerned, if you go the IC-300 Signature interconnect reviews elsewhere on this audioreview site, every thing reviewers say about it you can transfer in total to the AC-3 Signature power cord. I have copied over a few of these comments here:

“Simply put, the IC-300 Signature is the Best Interconnect i ever had the Pleasure to listen to! Neutral, Transparent and Dynamic, everything that an Audio Cable should be... it is hard to phantom why would anyone would want to Spend anymore on the Likes of Nordost, JPS, Cardas, Kimber Select and all the other Over-Hyped, Over-Priced Snake Oil Brands that the AudioIdiots Community love so much! Real Music Lovers need not look Elsewhere; the LAT IC-300 Signature is all they will ever Need. A truly Outstanding audio Product. STRENGTHS: Awsome detail, Transparency, Dynamics”

“Tonality is excellent with the 300 Signature as well as is the overall impression. I found it to be the most relaxing, most musical cable I have listened to. STRENGTHS: Very neutral, adds no coloration to the music, the background is black when there is no music. Lots of separation and sound staging.”
“tonally neutral and reveals more micro-dynamics than any other cable I've heard. Over the first hours of listening I repeatedly had to lower the volume. Not because things got louder but that they got clearer. Incredible dynamics and musicality. Effortless.”
“STRENGTHS: Tonal accuracy, spacious sound stage and depth. Phenomenal transparency and phase coherence. Superb bass, tight and controlled”.
“Their web site description of the Signature IC-300 impressed to me enough to try it. Try it I did and wow! Was I impressed. I had not heard such realism, speed, and transparency, with my JPS Aluminata or any other cables I have heard ”superb image accuracy, and neutrality; fluid and liquid smooth. STRENGTHS: Pin point image accuracy. Expansive and deep sound stage “
“STRENGTHS: Neutral, clean, fast and transparent with effortless command of the full range of music from top to bottom. Cable is dead quiet, all comes thru with no stress it is as neutral as could be, this could be detrimental in describing all other components in chain. absolutely no colorations. Enthusiastically recommended”
“STRENGTHS: Absolutely neutral as if no cable were inserted at all Beautiful burgundy finish. No sonic character thats the real deal.”
I Say, try one you won’t be disappointed; you may be amazed. I am certainly keeping it.
