Silnote Audio APOLLO Interconnect Cables

5/5 (1 Reviews) MSRP : $495.00

Product Description

The Apollo is what most would call enchanting, featuring 4 individual conductors per cable of the purest quality silver. Each strand is encased in a blended fiber spiraled in a helix configuration. The music just breathes with the Apollo. A tonal richness, superb microdynamics, pitch black background and a smooth, detailed, airy top end is what the Apollo is all about. This is a glorious sounding cable. All cables are treated with Caigs DeoxIT Gold for the ultimate connection and protection. Apollo cables are terminated with Eichmann Bullet Plugs or Neutrik XLR's. Optional LOK SilverPoints RCA.No expense is spared on building the Apollo.

Bottom Line:
Having spent the last couple years analyzing interconnect and speaker cables I have tried almost every high end audio cable available. Such as Audio note, Nordost, Acoustic Zen, Jps labs, Tara labs, Stealth, Zu, and many others. What I have learned is that you can spend lots of money and not get any better sound and in some cases worse. I happened across Silnote Audio cables recommended by a friend of mine. I had already found their Zeus cable a remarkable product. My friend said I should try the Apollo. He had purchased a pair on auction and let me borrow them for an evaluation. I can tell you now that I have become addicted to the Silnote cables. They just do everything right and are the most natural sounding cables I have ever heard. The Apollo is by far one of the best silver interconnect cables I have had the pleasure to listen to other than the Zeus. I had installed it from my preamp to cd player and settled down for a listen.Let me just say I cannot believe this cable does not sell for three times the price. While its not quite as liquid and detailed as the Zeus it comes close and offers a glimpse of what the Zeus can do. I have yet to hear a better cable than the Zeus at any price but the Apollo is one hell of a musical cable. The detail was smooth and extended out into the room, the bass was deep and very life like, the mids and vocals were as if I could reach out and touch the singer. I do not know how Silnote can get this much music from a cable and offer it at an affordable price but my hat is off to you Silnote Audio. You have done it again with the Apollo. Bravo. Another oustanding cable that gets my highest recommendation. Now I'm going to go buy a pair.

whats your opinion on Rega Apollo vs Jupiter?

I am trying to decide on whether to pay 850.00 for a used (very little hours) Jupiter or buy a new Apollo for 995.00 with warranty. Has anybody listened/compared the two? Thanks, ScottRead More »
