Review 1 of 11

Price Paid:  $450.00 from Singapore

Summary:
This review is actually meant for the Cardas Quadlink 5C which I immediately upgraded(4mths after buying) from Crosslink. What a major improvement it really made. More real-lifelike vocals and instruments flowing out from my speakers. Cymbals sounded really natural as if the drumset is playing right in front of the stage rightin front of you. Vocals are thicker and warmer. Recently purchased and terminated Eichmann bullet plugs and seems that I'm breathless without words to describe the improvements made. Soundstage really opens up with depth. Bass which is previously round and solid is much tighter with basslines definition clearly audible and imaging which initially was great become more defined. Check out those connectors guys... however Cardas do produce fine cables...Yeaah

Strengths:
Real-life analog sounding, never thin nor harsh. Just natural and smooth..

Weaknesses:
Connectors should be Bullet Plugs

Review 2 of 11

Price Paid:  $75.00 from Take Five Audio

Summary:
I now own two half-meter stereo pairs of Crosslink interconnects, terminated with Eichmann "bullet" plugs, and I couldn't be happier. One pair connects my CD player to my integrated amp, the other connects the tape outputs on the amp to the inputs on my cassette deck. Because the cable itself is sold in bulk and terminated by your dealer, you can order any length you want and shorter is definitely better!

Strengths:
Detail retrieval, transparency, presence. Imparts a certain *subtle* warmth to digital sources (CD player) and solid state electronics. Sweet, musical, non-fatiguing.

Weaknesses:
None at this price, at least not in my system: Rotel RCD-930AX CD player Denon DRM-555 cassette deck Rotel RA-931 integrated amp Audioquest Crystal speaker cable Mission 732 speakers Monster HTS-2000 power centre

Review 3 of 11

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:
This is a great sounding cable for the money. It has a balanced, non-fatiguing sound overall with smooth highs and fairly extended lows. The midrange is clean and musical but certain instruments on certain recordings have a tendency to sound a bit forward and piercing at times, particularly brass instruments and saxes. I've also noticed this with some vocals. Imaging is quite good overall. Compared to my Monster M1000iMK2 interconnects (which sell for at least twice as much), the bass is not quite as extended and refined, the mids are not quite as smooth, and the highs are very comparable. The Crosslinks are perhaps a bit more extended in the high frequencies while the M1000i's have a slightly more rolled-off sound. I would say that the Crosslinks are a tad better in the imaging department with better seperation between instruments.

Strengths:
A high quality, sonically balanced, and musical cable for a very reasonable price. Very good imaging.

Weaknesses:
Slight midrange glare (at least in my system)

Similar Products Used:
Monster M1000i, Interlink 400MK2, Kimber PBJ

Review 4 of 11

Price Paid:  $150.00 from Local Malaysian Agen

Summary:
I had bought these interconnects specially for my car and have found them extremely good, the first moment I installed it. The sounds were very natural, and the bass was precise. I had used a MIT earlier but have changed it all to this and just can''''t wait till the cable is burned in. Highly recommended for those who are serious about their music in their automobiles.

Strengths:
Very natural, neither adding nor subtracting anything. Definitely, what you hear is what is there. Great service. Had George Cardas answering my questions.

Weaknesses:
None really, except that it''''s high end CAR Audio.

MIT

Review 5 of 11

Price Paid:  $62.00 from Take Five Audio - Ca

Summary:
The Cardas Crosslink is an outstanding interconnect in the under $100 price range I was using the Tara Prism 22 and was happy with them, but read and heard so many great things about Cardas products that I had to try one. The Crosslink has more detail than the Tara and is more realistic, musical and fun to listen to. I no longer listen to the equipment try to reproduce music, I listen to music. These are not even broken in yet and are a tremendous improvement in my system. Assoc. front end equipment Jolida 601 Tube CD player w/ Cardas Crosslink interconnects Thorens TD 150 MK II turntable w/ Grado Green Cartridge Thorens TD 145 MK II turntable w/ Shure V 15 Type III Cartridge

Strengths:
Low price..Musical, neutral sound.

Weaknesses:
None

Similar Products Used:
Many low priced interconnects, Tara Labs, Straight Wire.
